An important update for Freeway Global users
The Freeway Team continues to work round the clock to get Freeway back on track and resume Supercharger buy-backs as soon as possible.
On the new business front, the Biz Dev team has already started to onboard users for AuBit Prime brokerage accounts, and the direct algo licensing agreements are being finalised so eligible users can enjoy Freeway’s exceptional rates by plugging in directly to our high-performance trading algos while Superchargers remain paused.
The Marketing and Compliance teams are also working hard on preparing information and sales materials for Direct Algo Access and our forthcoming Earn & Protect product, to support Biz Dev in bringing in the new revenues that will help speed up our recovery.
We are maximising efficiency by streamlining our team so we can strengthen it in key areas. We are in the process of recruiting a Senior FX algorithmic risk analyst who will work directly with our trading partners to monitor risk at all times.
Our priority is to build Freeway back even better, stronger and more resilient to any future volatile market conditions, and your continued patience and support means everything to us during this time. We are grateful to the overwhelming majority of our users who understand that the suspension of Supercharger buy-backs is a decision which was reluctantly taken for the collective benefit of all users. This allows Freeway to remain a viable business with sufficient corporate funds to recover its former profitability.
On another note, Freeway is currently reviewing its operations in Canada and until this review is complete we have taken the decision to remove online access for Canadian users. However, user accounts will remain on the platform unchanged, including any Supercharger simulations and Freeway Token (FWT) that users hold. For any users affected, please check your inbox shortly for more details.
Finally, we are aware of some false and defamatory statements about Freeway being shared on social channels. Rest assured our lawyers are on the case and we will publicly refute any accusations of wrongdoing.
